Budgeting:
Ad-Com has over twenty years of experience in determining where those
advertising dollars should be allocated. The details of the business
plan are the determining tools, but someone should know how to
use those tools. Together we decide how to best use the advertising
dollars. Do you want new business? Is your name known or unknown?
In what geographical area can you sell your products and provide
the service that should be an integral part of what you are selling?
This type of question, along with many other questions - and the
answers - will determine what media to use and in what area(s).
This part of the process requires a dollar amount be set and a
specific plan to implement the use of those dollars.
Negotiating:
At this point we know how much we will be spending, where we will
be spending those dollars, what form of media we will be using.
Now it is up to Ad-Com to negotiate with the various media for
the best prices and to spend the money as wisely as possible.
We are expert in knowing what media reaches your customers, the
best of those media to reach them and the pricing. We don’t
rely on the sales reps for competitive information. We buy millions
of dollars of media. This gives us buying power so you get the
most for your media dollar.
Buying:
We actually place the order and write individual contracts
for each media. We insist on a right of cancellation. At this
time we notify the media of the buy and any special details such
as co-op dollars and billing needed to get those co-op dollars
for you. When appropriate we also negotiate for value-added details.
Billing:
We bill the client for all of the media and provide documentation
from the media as to the accuracy of the schedule. We pay the
media within 3 working days of being paid by you. We will bill
you by the middle of each month. Timely payment by and of everybody
is the single best way to build relationships with the media.
That gives us the best possible working conditions to help make
certain each order achieves the goal.
